Pawns Invasion includes 4 game modes, letting players choose how they want to play:Peace Mode — A lighter race-style mode for casual play, where players move straight forward using dice without attacking.War Mode — The default battle mode, where players use dice to move straight forward, attack other colored pieces, and advance toward the opposite side with a mix of luck and strategy.Strategy Mode — A no-dice mode where players plan every move and use L-shaped movement to attack, protect, or advance their pieces and king to the opposite side.Party Mode — A challenge-based version of War Mode where losing pawns can trigger agreed-on real-world tasks or dares.
Is Pawns Invasion easy to learn?
Yes. Pawns Invasion is built around one clear objective: move your king and pawns to the opposite side. The game includes different modes, but they share many of the same core rules, so players can start with a lighter mode and move into more strategic gameplay as they learn.
Do the game modes make Pawns Invasion hard to learn?
No. The modes are built around the same core gameplay rules , so players do not have to learn a completely new game each time. Peace, War, and Party Mode use similar movement rules, while Strategy Mode removes the dice entirely and uses a more strategic L-shaped movement system. The way you play may change, but the main system stays easy to follow.
How does the game pawns invasion end?
The game can end in two ways depending on whether attacking is allowed.If attacking is not allowed:The game ends as soon as one player moves all of their pieces into the opposite side. That player wins immediately.If attacking is allowed:The game ends as soon as there is only one player left with playable pieces on the board. Any pieces that have not reached the opposite side by the end of the game are not counted. The winner is the player with the king and the most pawns on the opposite side.
Is Pawns Invasion good for travel?
Yes. Pawns Invasion is easy to bring to trips, gatherings, car rides, and game nights. The board folds to store everything inside, while the black support sticks and board pegs help keep the board flat and the pieces in place.
Do I have to use the optional rules?
No. Optional rules are there to add more variety and challenge, but they are not required. They can affect how the game plays by adding more strategy or changing certain situations, but the main goal and core gameplay stay the same.
Do all players need to agree on the game mode before starting?
Yes. Players should choose a game mode before the match begins so everyone follows the rules for that mode. You do not need to learn every mode right away — once you understand the core game system, and the default mode rules switching between modes becomes easier because many rules carry over from one mode to another.

No. Players should finish the match using the mode they selected at the start.

What do the colored bases do in Pawns Invasion?
Colored bases show each player’s starting point and finish line in all game modes. Each player begins in their own base and works to move their king and pawns across the battlefield into the opposite base only. Colored bases also act as safe zones, meaning pieces cannot be attacked while inside them.
Can players enter any colored base?
No. Players can only enter the opposite base they are moving toward. They cannot enter any other colored base on the board.
What happens if there is a tie in pawns invasion?
If two or more players finish with their king and the same number of pawns on the opposite side, the player with the most captured pieces wins the tie. If the tie still cannot be broken, the game ends in a draw.
What is the purpose of the king in Pawns Invasion?
The king can have or give extra abilities depending on whether you are playing with dice or without dice. Players must protect their king while moving it across the battlefield toward the opposite base. If you lose your king, you are out of the game, and you cannot win without advancing your king to the opposite side by the end of the game.
Is this only for serious strategy players?
No. Strategy players can enjoy the deeper strategy in No Dice Mode, but casual players can still enjoy dice-based modes like War Mode and Party Mode.
Can a piece move back into its own base after leaving?
No. Once a piece leaves its base, it cannot return.
Can I attack pieces inside the battlefield?
Yes. In gameplay that allow attacking, pieces can attack other colored pieces on the battlefield by landing on their square.
What makes Pawns Invasion different?
It gives players multiple ways to play in one box, from casual dice movement to no-dice strategy and party-style challenges.
Can pieces jump over other pieces ?
Yes. Pieces can jump over as many pieces as their movement allows. And movement starts from the first square next to the piece’s current square.
